Sayed Abdel Hafeez, Al-Ahly Football Manager, announced the negative corona scan of Ali Lotfi, the team’s goalkeeper, which he recently conducted.

Abdel Hafeez said in press statements that Lutfi will undergo a new medical swab tomorrow, Monday, and in light of its results, the date of his attendance in group training will be determined.

Lutfi was absent from the team’s list recently, due to the appearance of the positive corona swab that the player underwent a while ago.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Al-Tarsana team at eight in the evening next Wednesday, as part of the 16th round of the Egypt Cup matches.

For his part, Abdel Hafeez said that he is currently coordinating the travel of the first team delegation to Morocco, in preparation for the Moroccan Wydad match in the African Champions League.

He added that the administrative body is currently finalizing travel procedures and obtaining visas, as well as communicating with the responsible authorities in Morocco to book the training fields for the team.

Abdel Hafeez indicated that the closest direction is to travel to Morocco by private plane, according to the coordination that is currently taking place with the club’s management.

Al-Ahly faces Moroccan Wydad on October 17th in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.
