Adly Al-Qaei, advisor to Al-Ahly’s board of directors, said that he believes that the departure of Patrice Carteron, the former coach of Zamalek, and then Rene Fyler, the club’s technical director, is not a coincidence.
Carteron left Zamalek after paying the penalty clause, while Al-Ahly coach Rene Fyler did not officially leave, as the board of directors of the Red Club will decide next Thursday his position.
“The departure of Carteron and Fyler after a month and a half of renewing their contract with Al-Ahly and Zamalek remains a question mark and it is not a coincidence,” Adly Al-Qai’i said on Al-Ahly channel.
Al-Qai’i sent a message to Al-Ahly fans in which he said: “It does not mean that you love Al-Ahly club that you have owned it, that you may be able to control it, that you direct it, you criticize it in public, love is harmful in this way.”
He added, “Transparency contradicts with the management. You cannot think with the public opinion and the media about the name of the new coach. The net theory is like that, a dangerous theory.”
He ended, “Al-Ahly works in closed rooms, and the decision is known when it was announced, and the masses must support the decision even if it is against their conviction.”
