Spanish football club Barcelona announced today, Wednesday, the first data on the signatures of the withdrawal of confidence from President Josep Maria Bartomeu and his board of directors.
Barcelona issued a statement, according to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, explaining the result of reviewing 6,810 signatures out of 20,687 signatures submitted by member Jordi Vary, who promoted the vote to withdraw confidence from the board of directors.
The statement indicated that there are 5,795 valid signatures, while the verification process is still underway from 766 signatures, while 249 signatures have been revoked.
The FC Barcelona statement stated that there are still 13,877 cards unopened so far.
The Bartomeu recall committee includes two members of the club’s board of directors, in addition to a delegate from the Catalan Football Association.
