Qena – Abdulrahman Al-Qurashi:
One person was killed, and three others were wounded, this morning, Tuesday, in a quarrel between two families over an election propaganda banner in Farshout district, north of Qena governorate.
Major General Muhammad Abu al-Majd, Director of Qena Security, received a notification from the head of the Farshout Police Station that a quarrel had erupted between the al-Qabriya and Abd al-Tawab families because of an election campaign banner that resulted in the killing of Amr Abd al-Rajal Muhammad, 20, and the injury of Mahmoud Abd al-Rajal Muhammad, 20, Abdul-Mutaal Khaled Rushdi, 20, Khaled Hassan Mahmoud Abdel-Tawab, 59 years old, and the injured were transferred to hospitals to receive the necessary treatment.
The security services imposed intense security reinforcements between the two families to prevent renewed clashes, to control the perpetrators and the weapon used, and to issue a report on the incident, and notified the Public Prosecution to conduct investigations.
