Wydad Casablanca took advantage of the stumbling of Raja Casablanca in the 27th round of the Moroccan championship after the first victory 4-1 over Olympique de Safi, while the second tied 2-2 against host Mouloudia Oujda.
Wydad Casablanca will play Al-Ahly in the semi-finals of the African Champions League, while Raja will face the Zamalek team in the same stage of the tournament next October.
Wydad was able to advance through Badi ‘Awok, then Yahya Gibran added the second goal, and Kazadi Kasengu completed the third, before Hamza Khaba reduced the score in favor of the guests, but the Quartet completed the first goal, so the Wydadi team achieved a great victory on the stadium of the Mohammed V Sports Complex.
Despite the advancement of Raja after only 3 minutes through Hamid Haddad, Mouloudia Oujda managed to equal and then advanced in the result, and after that, Mohsen Metwally managed to settle the tie in the match with a penalty kick in the 71st minute.
Raja maintained the top of the Moroccan League with 53 points, and Wydad reduced the teams after raising its tally to 52 points in second place.
