The Sudanese actor and theater director, Yasser Abdel-Latif, was born in Sudan, and he began his studies at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in Syria, and then graduated in 1993 with a batch of artists.

Among those artists are Basem Yakhour, Qasem Melh, Shukran Murtaja, and other artists. The Sudanese actor and theater director, Yasser Abdul Latif, worked as a professor of acting at the institute and settled in Syria for 20 years, after which he returned to his country.

The Sudanese actor and theater director Yasser Abdul Latif participated in the series Al-Khawaja Abdul-Qadir with the artist Yahya Al-Fakharani as Fadlallah and during the 20 years he spent in Syria.
