El Gouna: Whoever crosses the red line will not be with us … even if he confronts

Nader Shawky, director of the company responsible for football in El Gouna, called on the management of Zamalek to calm the atmosphere between the two clubs, so that the crisis does not increase due to the presence of a number of Al-Ahly players within the team.

In statements to Ontime Sports Channel, Shawky said that he works in a respectable club, and if any player crosses the red lines in front of the opposing team, he will be held accountable and will not be present in the team after that.

He added, “There has been no overtaking by the El-Gouna duo, Ahmed Yasser Rayan and Islam Mohareb, against Tariq Yahya, coach of Zamalek, as the latter claims.”

He explained, that the statements made by the Zamalek coach regarding the double-transgression of El Gouna against him are unfounded, and if that happened, El Gouna would have issued a penalty against the two players.

He continued, “The coach is supposed to go out and speak only about technical matters, and I will not allow anyone to speak in an inappropriate way about the El Gouna team.”

He continued: “What Tariq Yahya said increases the tension between El Gouna and Zamalek clubs, especially the presence of Al-Ahly players in the team.”

He pointed out that Tariq Yahya should have contacted the El Gouna administration instead of going out through the media and attacking El Gounas players and talking about overcoming them during the match.

And he continued: Anyone above the red line will not be in El Gouna, what happens from Zamalek increases the tension and I have no problem sitting with Zamalek officials to calm the situation.

He concluded: “We treated Zamalek in a wonderful way in El Gouna, and this did not happen in the Cairo match during our presence in the main cabin of the Cairo Stadium, and if there were an audience, we would not be able to leave alive.”
