FilGoal.com spoke with Hossam Hassan, who said: “Initially, I am satisfied with my current season, especially since I succeeded in joining the team under the leadership of Hossam Al-Badri. I still have a lot to offer.”
“I dream of winning the league’s top scorer title, I now have 9 goals. I scored more than that last season, and frankly this season, I missed success,” he added.
He stressed, “I learned a lot from all the coaches who took over Smouha. As for more than one impact on my character, Hector Cuper was, I learned a lot from him, such as taking responsibility on and off the field and playing under pressure.”
He revealed, “There are two seasons left in my contract with Smouha. I have official offers, but Faraj Amer is responsible for these matters.”
He declared, “Al-Ahly or Zamalek is an honor, and if I receive an offer from them or a Gulf offer, I will choose the team (who bought me) and they want me strongly.”
He stressed, “I will show Smouhas interest on my behalf, because I announce that Faraj Amer will work in my interest as well.”
“Nasser Maher is the best player in the league this season, he is a great player with skill and good vision inside the green rectangle and he helps you in scoring goals,” he said.
Smouha is ranked fifth with 43 points, after 30 rounds of the Egyptian League.
