The winner from the Mayar Sharif and Pleskova match will play in front of the winner from the Latvian match, Jelena Ostapenko, and the American Madison Pringle.
Pliskova, 28, previously ranked first in the tennis world in July 2017.
Pliskova reached the semi-finals of Roland Garros in 2017 and played the final of the US Open tennis tournament in 2016.
