Musimani said in a video posted on his official account on the social networking site “Twitter” today, Wednesday: “I announced my acceptance of a transfer to a new club starting from the second of next October. This offer came because of the club’s desire to help me win more titles and I am up to the challenge.”
“It was difficult to leave as I love Sundowns, but I was offered a new challenge after eight years in Sundowns and to win 11 championships, I needed to take a new challenge and get out of my comfort zone,” he added.
“And Sundowns also can count on a new perspective,” he added.
The South African coach added, “Although I have a four-year contract with Sundowns, this offer was a great opportunity for me.”
And he added, “I would like to thank the president for the time I spent with the Sundowns family. My success with the club is a product of everyone in the club working together. Without the president, I did not achieve what I have achieved.”
“I hope with the passage of time that we meet again, I thank the management, the players and the fans, and I wish you success in the future.”
