Pacheco arrived in Cairo on Saturday evening and watched the team’s match against El Gouna in the Egyptian League from the stands.
Pacheco is scheduled to open his matches with Zamalek against Al-Masry on Thursday evening.
Pacheco was keen to shake hands with the players and members of the administrative and medical apparatus to identify them before the start of the training session.
Zamalek players underwent a “Rapid Test” analysis before the start of the training session to detect the Corona virus.
Pacheco asked Amr Abdel Salam, the goalkeeper’s coach, to carry out some technical training for the guards on the sidelines of the training session at the club’s headquarters.
Abdel Salam has equipped some new training tools to implement the demands of the Portuguese coach, who wants to train on how to deal with long-term repayments, as well as focus on improving the optimum.
Medhat Abdel Hadi, the coach of the team, held a session with Alex Costa, the general coach, to clarify the picture with some technical matters.
During training, Abdel Hadi transferred some points about the team’s last game against El Gouna.
Pacheco decided to travel the team’s mission to Alexandria tomorrow morning, in preparation for the confrontation with Al-Masry.
The team will go into training tomorrow in Alexandria in preparation for facing Al-Masry on Thursday evening.
Mohamed Onajem underwent a special qualification program in the club’s “gym” under the supervision of Amr Al-Matrawi.
Zamalek is preparing to face Al-Masry in the 31st round of the Egyptian League competition.
Zamalek is ranked second in the league table with 58 points.
