Jamie Pacheco, Zamalek’s coach, stressed that he will work in the coming period for Zamalek to reach its great position in Egyptian and African football.
Pacheco said during the training contract signing session for Zamalek: “The first time I came to coach Zamalek, the team included a distinguished group of players, and this time the team also includes a constellation of stars.”
He added, “We will work for Zamalek to reach its great position in Egyptian and African football.”
“The club has developed a lot since the first time it coached it, and it has also achieved many successes,” he concluded.
The Portuguese Pacheco took over the training of Zamalek, succeeding the French Patrice Carteron, who terminated his contract with the White Castle.
The Portuguese coach arrived in Cairo last Saturday, and will train Zamalek in the next match against Smouha in the Egypt Cup.
