Leicester City defeated Manchester City in the Etihad Stadium by five goals for two goals in the third round of the English Premier League.
“For me, they were lucky,” Rodri told the BBC, commenting on the meeting.
He continued, “The ball was not fair to us, maybe this was our mistake or their strengths, but it is difficult to explain what happened.”
“We did a lot of things to win, but a team like Leicester came and played 11 men behind the ball,” he added.
“I am young and try to learn in every match, but in a meeting like this where the opponent does not offer anything, I feel confused,” he said.
Manchester City is preparing to meet Burnley next Wednesday in the League Cup, before facing Leeds United next Saturday in the fourth round of the Premier League.
