Ahmed Sami, the coach of Smouha, confirmed his need for Nasser Maher to continue within the team’s ranks in the next season, and that the player agreed to that.
Sami said on the radio program One Two, “I really hope (Nasser) will continue with us, and renew his loan from Al-Ahly, and the player on his part has agreed to stay with Smouha in the new season.”
He added, “Nasser is a player with unnatural potentials. I employ him in a certain way in the Playmaker Center. I will not reveal its details, but it will place him in a different position during the coming period.”
“Nasser Maher will be an asset to the Egyptian national team in the playmaker center,” he said.
Ahmed Sami said in another context, “All the matches are difficult. A strong confrontation awaits us against Ismaili, who is trying to improve his position, and then the Zamalek match in the cup will be difficult against a large team that used to win this championship in recent seasons.”
He explained, “My contract with Smouha extends to the end of next season, and I have great support from club president Faraj Amer, and he provides me with the necessary capabilities for success.”
Smouha is ranked fifth with 43 points, after 30 rounds of the Egyptian League.
