The causes of oral infections are due to lack of nutrition and decreased immunity, as well as digestive and intestinal problems, and sometimes infection with the H. pylori bacteria.
In this context, a report by the Health Site magazine mentioned some home remedies that can help relieve the pain caused by mouth and tongue infections, and they are:
Rinsing the mouth with hydrogen peroxide
Lotion of hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide) added to water can stop the pain of mouth ulcers and disinfect them, by using it as gargling twice daily, taking care not to swallow it during rinsing because of its harmful effects on the stomach.
Rinsing the mouth with coconut oil
Due to its powerful anti-fungal properties, pure coconut oil relieves mouth ulcers.
Take a tablespoon of it and start using it as a solution to gargle for 10 minutes, and this magic oil has the ability to moisturize the gums as well as soothe and heal mouth ulcers, and at the same time, it does not cause any harm to healthy mouth bacteria.
Eat a well-balanced diet
Eating an unhealthy diet can lead to mouth ulcers, and if your diet is not balanced, you may develop a nutritional deficiency that causes them.
You should include a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet, and you should also avoid alcohol, coffee, soft drinks and fast food, and drink a lot of water.
Don’t ignore vitamins
Besides the previous causes, a lack of vitamins can also cause mouth ulcers. Include vitamins in your daily eating routine, to get enough vitamins B1 and B12, iron and zinc to avoid infection.
Alcohol depletes the reserves of vitamin B1 in the body, as well as a lack of red meat in your food causes a deficiency of vitamin B12, and iron deficiency leads to anemia, which is another cause of mouth ulcers.
