Thiago joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich last month in a deal worth up to 25 million pounds.
Thiago made his debut for the Premier League champions in the 2–0 win over Chelsea on 20 September.
Alcantara was surprisingly absent from the Liverpool team yesterday in front of Arsenal, which saw the Reds win by three.

Liverpool won their third consecutive victory in the English Premier League this season, after they were due 0/1 to a 3/1 victory over Arsenal on Monday.
