Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek Club, threatened Hisham Hatab, President of the Olympic Committee, Hassan Mustafa, President of the International Handball Federation, and Mahmoud al-Khatib, President of Al-Ahly Club, after complaints submitted by the last duo to the Egyptian Olympic Committee.
Murtaza Mansour said on Zamalek TV early today, Tuesday: “Hisham Hatab, Hassan Mustafa, and Mahmoud Al-Khatib warned against the wrath of millions. You will deal with bullying.
Mortada continued his attack on Hatab: “Your generation will not leave me, and when I come, I will not go alone. I am the president of the Zamalek club, which millions have seen.
And he went on, “Hisham Hatab, I want to summon the international authorities against Zamalek, and if it happened, he should bear the anger of Zamalek.”
And he continued, “What punishment will you expect from Mortada, it will not happen well, I will not resort to a foreigner to take my right. I have needs. If you say it, it will happen a lot.”
The president of Zamalek ended his speech, addressing the president of the International Hand Federation, “I will spend a week on you, Hassan Mustafa, and I will not lose you.”
Last Thursday, the Clubs and Values Committee of the Olympic Committee issued a decision to refer Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamalek, for investigation, based on his violation of some articles in the code of conduct.
Yasser Idris, a spokesman for the Egyptian Olympic Committee, said that the committee had received more than 10 complaints from various parties against Murtaza Mansour, indicating that the investigation with him is legal.
In its statement, the committee clarified that the specialized committees of the Egyptian Olympic Committee monitor and follow up any exit or transgressions that violate the principles of the Olympic Charter and the correct sporting ethics, in preparation for referring them to international sports bodies to take their affairs.
The 10 complaints filed against Mortada Mansour came: 4 from the Football Association, two from Al-Ahly Club, and one from each of Hani Al-Attal, Abdullah George and Mamdouh Abbas.
