Tottenham Hotspur qualified for the quarter-finals of the English League Cup “Carabao” after beating Chelsea on penalties.
The original time for the match ended in a 1-1 draw, after Chelsea took the lead and the white opponent, who won the penalty shootout, drew (5-4).
Tottenham are waiting for the draw to find out their next opponent in the quarter-finals in order to advance in a tournament they hope to win back to the podium.
The match witnessed an altercation between Jose Mourinho, the coach of Tottenham Hotspur, and his former player, Frank Lampard, who leads Chelsea from the manager’s seat now, before matters are resolved.
