The high price of gold is 21 karats
Naguib Nadi, the former Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-carat gram of gold rose to 825 pounds during current transactions, compared to 824 pounds yesterday.

- The price of a gram of 18 carat gold was about 707 pounds.
- The price of a 24-carat gram is about 943 pounds.
- The price of a pound gold is 6600 pounds.

Globally, gold prices fell by 0.75% as the price per ounce decreased by $ 14.19 compared to the end of yesterday’s trading, according to Bloomberg data at $ 188: $ 30.
The price of gold rose in the local market during trading yesterday, reaching a gram of 10 pounds at one go.

The dollar’s gains following the debate thwarted gold’s latest attempt to reach the psychologically important level of $ 1900, ”adding that the currency is the current preferred safe-haven asset for investors.
He said: “If investors’ concerns increase more about the possibility of delaying the election result, then prolonged political uncertainty may provide more support for the metal in the coming weeks.”
Gold also lost its luster due to positive Chinese data on manufacturing and services activities, while market participants watched the advance of a new financial support bill related to Corona in the United States.
As for the other precious metals, silver fell 1.7 percent to $ 23.76 an ounce, platinum fell 1.9 percent to $ 867.72, and palladium rose 0.5 percent to $ 2.
