Raja Casablanca won a deadly victory at the expense of Saree Oued Zem in a postponed match from the 22nd week of the Moroccan League accounts.
Rajas only goal came through captain Mohsen Metwally in the 82nd minute from a penalty kick to lead his team to snatch 3 precious points.
Raja retained the top of the Moroccan League with 52 points, so that the Casablanca team was two points away from the Berkane Renaissance, while Wydad fell to third place temporarily with 48 points.
Wydad will play this evening against its team, Morocco Tetouan, in a meeting that comes within the 26th week.
Raja is Zamalek’s competitor in the CAF Champions League competition, where the two teams are scheduled to meet in the first leg of the semi-finals on October 17th, in contrast, the return match will be held in Egypt with 23 during the same month.
It is worth noting that the second party in the semi-final round will be between Al-Ahly and Wydad Casablanca.
