The Meteorological Authority said that there is a state of instability in the country next Tuesday, October 20, until Sunday, October 25.
The authority clarified, in a statement today, that there will be moderate rain on Tuesday in the areas of (Sallum, Siwa, Matrouh and Dabaa), and it will be light in Alexandria.
On Wednesday, there will be moderate to heavy and sometimes thunderstorms on the northern coasts (Sallum, Siwa, Matrouh, Dabaa, and Alexandria) and areas of Lower Egypt, Beheira, Kafr El Sheikh, extending medium to the rest of the Delta governorates.
Next Thursday to Sunday will witness moderate to torrential and sometimes thunderstorm rains in areas of the northern coasts (Sallum, Siwa, Matrouh, Dabaa, Alexandria, Rashid and Damietta) and areas of Lower Egypt (Beheira, Kafr El Sheikh, Dakahlia, West and East, and the canal cities (Ismailia, Port Said and Suez, and the eastern coasts of the country). Floods reach areas of North and Central Sinai, stretching from light to moderate in areas of northern Upper Egypt, Fayoum, Beni Suef, and Minya.
This is accompanied by a decrease in temperature by values of 4-5 degrees; As of Thursday, October 22, on the northern coasts, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt.
