Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly club, revealed the details of Mohamed Mahmoud, the team’s player at the Red Castle, to cut the knee cartilage during the past hours.
Abdel Hafeez explained that Mohamed Mahmoud underwent the surgery after Ahmed Abdel Aziz, head of the medical committee at the Red Castle, discovered a cut in the cartilage after the player felt pain in the knee.

After the Al-Ahly midfielder traveled to Germany, the doctor informed him that this pain is normal, and that it will end once the player finishes his rehabilitation period after recovering from an injury to the cruciate ligament.
The pain returned to Muhammad Mahmoud after he came to Cairo and completed his training with Al-Ahly, to be presented to Doctor Ahmed Abdel Aziz, who confirmed that he had a cut in the knee cartilage.
Abdel Hafeez indicated that Ahmed Abdel Aziz performed the operation for Mohamed Mahmoud on Tuesday, refusing to reveal the period of absence during which the player will be away from the stadium.
