The Settlement and Arbitration Center of the Egyptian Olympic Committee issued a decision to nullify the Zamalek Club regulation and the resulting decisions and effects, and therefore for violating the Egyptian Sports Law.
Mamdouh Abbas, the “arbitrator”, filed a lawsuit against both Hisham Hatab, head of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, “the contestant,” and Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek club, “an attacker,” according to a document that Yalla Koura obtained a copy of.
The decision of the settlement center came due to a mistake on the part of Zamalek in relying on the ordinary general assembly instead of the extraordinary general assembly in adopting the statute bylaw and the amendments made to it. (See from here)
The decision of the Settlement and Arbitration Center was not only against the Zamalek club, but rather against the Olympic Committee due to its adoption of the regulation and its amendments in violation of the Egyptian Sports Law of 2017.
The Egyptian Olympic’s adoption of the list in contravention of the law came in the judgment of “the contestant” in Mamdouh Abbas’s case, due to its approval of the procedures of Zamalek Club, despite its incorrectness.
