Al-Ahly received a delegation from Celta Vigo, Spain, which includes Marcos Alonso, Commissioner for International Programs in Africa, Diego Garcia, responsible for the sponsoring company’s program, and Juan Foynitz, Commissioner of “laliga” in Egypt, to discuss ways of cooperation between Al-Ahly Club and Celta Vigo.
The Celta Vigo delegation was received by Engineer Khaled Mortaji, and Engineer Mohamed Serageldin, members of the club’s board of directors.
This comes within the framework of the club’s board of directors, headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, to exchange experiences and visits with European clubs in a manner befitting the aspirations of Al-Ahly and its fans at all levels.
The conversation touched on the exchange of experiences between the two clubs, especially since Celta Viejo has scouts for talent around the world, which is in line with Al-Ahly’s vision for the youth sector, after contracting with Czech Michel Prokic, technical director of the youth sector in Al-Ahly, and Khaled Bibo, head of the sector, in The light of Celta Vigo interest in African talent, and accordingly, the first visit of the Spanish delegation to Al-Ahly.
Engineer Khaled Murtaji and engineer Mohamed Serageldin, members of the Council, were keen to present the Spanish delegation with the shield and flag of the club, in appreciation of their desire to cooperate, while the delegation of Celta Viejo gifted Murtaji and Sirajuddin Alam Celta Vigo.
