The Media Center of the Council of Ministers confirmed that the news circulated by some websites and social media pages regarding the government’s launch of new electronic links to register access to a child’s pension is unfounded.
The Media Center of the Council of Ministers stated, in the report clarifying the facts, Friday, that in contacting the Ministry of Social Solidarity, it denied the news, confirming that there is no validity to launch any new electronic links to record obtaining the child’s pension, and that these links are fake and the Ministry has nothing to do with it completely, explaining Registration for the child’s pension is done only by filling out the application form available on the official website of the Ministry of Social Solidarity via the following linkhttps://www.moss.gov.egAnd submitting it to the social affairs unit of the place of residence.
In the same context, the child’s pension is granted to children under the age of (18) years, and it applies to the following categories: (children of orphans, children of unknown father or parents, children of divorced women if she married, imprisoned or died, and children of imprisoned for a period of no less than 3 years) In addition to providing a monthly scholarship for every child benefiting from the pension, provided that they attend basic education to intermediate education, with a maximum of (200) pounds per month for a period of (8) months from October to May of each academic year.
