FilGoal | News | Al-Ahly in the Joule: We did not renew negotiations with Youssef Blayli

Amir Tawfik, director of contracting and marketing at Al-Ahly, said that the club had not renewed its negotiations with Youssef Bailey, the Algerian star.

In response to reports that Al-Ahly is trying again to negotiate to acquire the wing, Tawfiq told “What is said is not true.”

“The focus is all on the African Champions League final,” he added.

Reports wrote that Al-Ahly renewed negotiations with representatives of the 28-year-old player, after a month-long break.

Blailey, the 2019 African Cup champion, terminated his contract with Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia, according to his father, who was his agent.

Blailey, the former player of Angers, told France Football that he would like to return to Europe.

Bliley’s father stated that Al-Ahly, Zamalek and Pyramids clubs want to obtain the player’s services, indicating that the former is the most serious in negotiations.

Blailey played for Saudi Al-Ahly for a year, and the Fennecs star wore the shirts of MC Oran, Esperance and Ittihad Algeria.

And the latest foreign reports said that Blailey is close to the Qatari league and that Turkey’s Galatasaray would like to delegate it.
