Majid Sami, president of Wadi Degla Club, announced via FilGoal.com that Ahmed Ramadan Beckham will move to Al-Ahly starting from next season.

He also revealed the club’s contracting policy for the next season.

Majid Sami told FilGoal.com, “I will just say that Ahmed Ramadan Beckham will play in Al-Ahly next season. This is final talk.”

He continued, “I will not disclose the details of the contract to sell Beckham, and there is no clause in his contract that allows the family to buy it for 5 million pounds to join it again, this is not true.”

He added, “We do not prefer to talk about the financial matters of the deals in the media out of respect for the other party, so that some do not think that we are selling at the highest price to the player.”

“Everyone knows the club’s policy when buying, to pay the transfer fee in full and the same thing when selling, and there is no room for entering exchange deals when buying and selling.”

And he added, “Concluding reciprocal deals with Al-Ahly when buying Beckham?”

And about the policy of Wadi Degla to support the team for the next season Majid Sami said: “The club’s deals and politics are relying on the club’s youth, and we have already made our decision not to sign this season except with super players to form a combination with the youth, which we continue to raise.”

And he concluded, “We have already contracted with Ihab Al-Mubaraki, left-back in Tunisias Esperance, as well as Massad Awad, the goalkeeper of Aswan.

Beckham, who plays in the central defense and midfielder, began his career in the Al-Ahly youth camp.

Then he moved to the border guards on loan before joining Wadi Degla club at the beginning of the last season 2018/2019 on loan and then finally in the current season.

Beckham, 23, participated with the Tigris this season in 30 games and scored two goals.

Beckham shined with the Olympic team and contributed to winning the African U-23 Cup of Nations and qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which will take place next summer.
