Cameroonian referee Allium Nyant is close to managing the final match of the African Confederation Cup, which brings together Pyramids and the Moroccan Berkane Renaissance.

According to the Moroccan “championship” website, the Cameroonian “is the closest, and to a large extent, to lead the final scene of the Confederation Cup.”

Niant managed the match between Zamalek and Moroccan Raja in the semi-final first leg of the Champions League, which ended with the White Knight winning 1-0 thanks to Achraf Bencharki’s goal.

Al-Raja club had lodged a protest against the refereeing performance of the Cameroonian referee. (See the details)

With the Moroccan clubs, the 38-year-old referee managed 13 matches in the African Championships, and scored 6 wins, against 5 draws and 2 losses.

Pyramids had defeated Houria Conakry of Guinea 2-0 in the semi-finals, while RS Berkane overcame Hassanias hurdle Agadir 2-1.
