“I have not and will not resign from the presidency of Zamalek Club,” Mortada said in statements transmitted by the club’s official website.
“The owners of these rumors are trying to shake the club’s stability,” he said.
The Administrative Court postponed Murtadas appeal, in which he requested to cancel the decision issued by the Egyptian Olympic Committee, which is binding on him for 4 years.
The committee issued its decision after complaints filed against the president of Zamalek.
Mortada sent a message of encouragement to Zamalek players on Saturday in preparation for the upcoming confrontation against Raja in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.
Zamalek will be the guest of the Moroccan champion today, Sunday, and after 6 days, he will host the second leg.
If Zamalek crosses the final, he will face Al-Ahly or Wydad.
