FilGoal | News | Musimani bid farewell to the Sundowns crowd

Betso Mosimane, the coach who is just around the corner from Al-Ahly’s leadership, seemed severely affected as the fans bid farewell to Mamelodi Sundowns at an airport in South Africa.

South Africa is preparing to move towards Cairo to succeed Swiss Rene Fyler in command of the Red Caravan.

Musimane, 56, who won the 2016 CAF Champions League with Sundowns, could not hold back his tears as he bid farewell to an audience who insisted on taking pictures with him at the airport, in a live broadcast via his Instagram account.

وعلم Al-Ahly has completed its agreement with Musimani to lead the team, starting with the Arab Contractors match on Sunday in the Egyptian Premier League.

Mosimane, the former player for Orlando Pirates and Al Sadd, will sign a two-year contract with Al-Ahly.

Mosimane coached the Bafana Bafana national team for two years before leading the Sundowns from December 2012.

Musimani won ten titles with Sundowns.
