Good news for Al-Ahly fans: Ahmed Fathy participates in the Champions League final

Al-Ahly club’s director of football, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, said that the red giant succeeded in crossing the Moroccan Wydad team back and forth and achieved what was required of him and reached the final of the African Champions League.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez added in radio statements that reaching the Champions League final is an important step, but the tournament has not been resolved, and the team must maintain its focus until the end of the campaign.

The director of football at Al-Ahly club stated that the first team player, Ahmed Fathy, may participate in the African Champions League final, and will also participate in the league.

Sayed Al-Hafeez added that Ahmed Fathi is presenting great levels with Al-Ahly club and is participating very professionally and providing his best, even though he played in the left back position.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez indicated that Tunisian international star Ali Maaloul will attend group training sessions for Al-Ahly club during Tuesday’s training session, and he did not participate in the Wydad match, fearing for his safety.

The director of football at Al-Ahly club confirmed that the goalkeeper of the first team does not suffer from any injuries at the present time, and the technical staff decided to direct from the Wydad meeting in order to secure his position after he complained earlier about a pulled injury to the connective muscle.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez added that the technical director of Al-Ahly Club, Musimani, has largely resolved the file of new deals and the position of the loaned players, and focuses at this time on crowning the CAF Champions League.
