The team of the Pyramids football team arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, in preparation for the final matches of the African Confederation Cup.
The mission landed in Morocco after a flight that took about 5 and a half hours from Cairo to Casablanca on board the private plane provided by the club’s management to rest all the team members.
The Ivorian international defender, Fred Cannon, joined the Pyramids club’s mission upon arrival at Casablanca airport
The international defender came to Casablanca from Brussels, Belgium, after the end of the international elephants camp at the October rally.
Sherif Gamal, the club’s director of public relations, was present at the Casablanca airport to receive the mission to finalize the entry arrangements after the official mission was preceded by one day to arrange all matters.
The mission will go directly to the Four Seasons Hotel in Casablanca to stay there until the match between Houria Conakry of Guinea, which is scheduled for next Tuesday in the semi-final round at the Mohammed V stadium.
The Croatian coach, Ante Cacic, decided to give the players a negative rest after arriving in Casablanca, and that the team would go to its first training on Friday evening, in one of the stadiums near the residence hotel.
The team traveled to Morocco with 23 players, to be completed in Casablanca with the joining of the international duo Eric Traore and Wolfred Cannon after completing the international gathering.
