A source in the Al-Ahly club said that Nigerian Junior Ajay, the winger of the club’s first football team, participated in the final training session that was held Thursday evening.
The source confirmed, in statements by Laila Koura, that Ajay completely got rid of the connective muscle pain that prevented him from completing yesterday’s training exercises on Wednesday and appeared well and reassured and there is no concern for him from his participation tomorrow in front of Moroccan Wydad.
The source revealed that the Nigerian player underwent a medical examination before the closing day, which proved that he got rid of any pain, and then participated naturally in training after Pitso Mosimane, the coach, reassured his condition.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly has finished training this evening in preparation for the Wydad match tomorrow in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-finals, after the first leg of the match was decided in his favor with two goals without a response, scored by Ali Maaloul and Mohamed Majdi “Afsha”.
