The appointment of South Africas Pitso Musimani as the new coach of Al-Ahly postponed the fate of Moroccan Walid Azzaro, the team’s striker, after his loan to the Saudi agreement ended.
An official source at Al-Ahly said, in statements to Laila Koura, that it had been decided to postpone the resolution of Azaros fate, pending the opinion of Pitso Mosimane.
He added, “The planning committee will inform the coach of all the details of Azaro and other loan players, to determine which names will return or not.”
And he continued: “There has been no new occurrence regarding the offer of the agreement to buy the player so far, and Al-Ahly did not respond with approval or rejection after the rapid changes with the departure of Rene Fyler and the arrival of Musimani.”
The source concluded, “Musimane will be the ultimate decider in determining Azaros fate.”
