Matt McCann, a spokesman for Liverpool FC, stated that they are not responding to the rumors that spread through social media, after news that the team’s wing, Mohamed Salah, was infected with the Corona virus.

An account through the short tweets site “Twitter” circulated news of Mohamed Salah’s infection with the Corona virus today, Saturday, which was not done through any official source inside the club.

Matt McCann said in response to a “Masrawy” inquiry in this regard today, Saturday: “Liverpool does not comment on the rumors received through Twitter.”

On the other hand, a source revealed to “Masrawy” that Mohamed Salah is in good condition, and the results of the analysis did not show that he was infected with the virus.

In the past few days, Liverpool announced that midfielder Thiago Alcantra and Sadio Mane had been infected with the Corona virus, without there being any previous news for this.

On Sunday, Liverpool will play Aston Villa in the fourth round of the English Premier League, “Premier League.”
