Manchester United announced the absence of their Uruguayan striker, Edinson Cavani, from meeting Newcastle United in the Premier League.
Manchester United had signed a free transfer deal with Cavani on the last day of the summer transfer market.
The English club confirmed, through its official website, that Cavani will miss the Newcastle meeting, after undergoing self-quarantine, after coming from France.
Manchester United will meet his Newcastle United counterpart, next Saturday, in the fifth round of the Premier League matches.
Manchester United indicated that Cavani will be ready to participate with the team in the match between Paris Saint-Germain, his former team in the Champions League, next Tuesday.
It is worth noting that Cavani left the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain, after his contract with the Parisian team ended at the end of last season.
