Murtaza Mansour begins the first steps to appeal the decision of the Olympic Committee

Mortada Mansour filed a lawsuit with the State Council to challenge the decision to suspend him by the Egyptian Olympic Committee.

The Olympic Committee headed by Hisham Hatab had issued its decisions to punish Mortada Mansour for not practicing any sporting activity for four years, as well as not counting his signature on any financial matters related to the Zamalek Club and not representing the White Club before the courts.

In its decisions, the Egyptian Olympic Committee obligated the management of Zamalek Club to call for a general assembly to elect a new club president, instead of Mortada Mansour.

Murtaza Mansour was litigated in the lawsuit No. 2015 of the 75 judicial year, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Executive Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Hisham Hatab, Chairman of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.

Mortada Mansour refuses to implement the Olympic decisions, stressing that what is happening against him is a conspiracy by Hassan Mustafa, president of the International Handball Federation, and Hisham Hatab, president of the Olympic Committee, under the auspices of Qatar.

Mansour confirmed in more than one interview on the Zamalek channel that the goal of removing him from the presidency of the club is to bring down the White Castle, especially since the team is on the verge of an important confrontation in the semi-finals of the African Champions League against Moroccan Raja on October 18 and 25.

While Sherif Al-Erian, Secretary of the Olympic Committee, confirmed that the decision is enforceable, and the Minister of Youth and Sports or even the International Federation will not be able to cancel the decisions because they are issued by a sovereign body in sports.
