Today, artist Aida Abdel Aziz celebrates her 90th birthday and has presented a number of important works of Egyptian art.

Aida was very shocked by the death of her only love, the artist and director Ahmed Abdel Halim, in 2013 in Germany, and after that she lived a state of psychological depression and severe sadness, so she moved away from acting until the great artist Yahya Al-Fakharani encouraged her to participate with him in the series Dahzah and then turned away from the lights again.

She participated in a number of TV shows, most notably “Diaries of Wanis”, “Queen in Exile”, “Egyptian Papers”, “Fleeing Love”, “Kaab Dyer”, “Al Haffar, Conscience of Abla Hikmat.”

Among her most famous theatrical works are “The Chalk Circle”, “A King Looking for a Job”, “Deliverance”, “The Immigrant”, “The Sultan’s Game”, “The International Circus”, “Something in My Chest”, “The Earth, The Tree of Injustice”, “Dongguan” “The Price of Freedom”, and she has received many awards and honors, including that of the 1996 Experimental Theater Festival.
