Taj al-Din continued during his interview with the “Today” program broadcast on the DMC channel, saying: “In the event that a child suffers from seasonal influenza, his guardian must prevent him from going to school for a period of two or three days until he cures, because he can transmit the infection to His contacts. ”
He advised citizens not to go to school or university in the event of seasonal influenza, noting that the world is witnessing a large number of experiences, and soon there will be a vaccine for the Corona virus.
Yesterday, Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 32 recoverers of the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 97,524 cases until today.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the ministry, stated that 121 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 7 new cases.
Mujahid said that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Thursday, is 104,156 cases, including 97,524 cases that have been cured, and 6,017 deaths.
