Dr. Mahmoud Shalabi, Secretary of Fatwa at Dar Al Iftaa, said that a woman’s’ awrah is with a woman from the navel to the knee.

And the ummah was unanimously agreed after this evidence that it is obligatory to cover the private part of the man and the woman, and it is in the right of a woman to cover the veil that covers her body, and that has become a known part of the religion necessarily.

He explained that the consensus in this previous capacity negates the presumption that the evidence is proven, and the evidence after it becomes final, and it is not permissible to consider it in view that contradicts that consensus. An example of it is the consensus that ablution takes precedence over prayer, despite the illusion of the text in the Almighty’s saying: {O those who believe, when you rise to prayer}. Where the ummah is unanimously agreed that ablution is before prayer and that what is meant by the verse: If you want to get up to prayer, then wash your faces … etc.

He continued that the private part is a legitimate matter in the street, and there is no way for a man to expose his nakedness at some point in time or place. Judgment to the permissibility of changing time.

He said that covering the nakedness is not a matter of jurisprudence that changes with the change of time, and there are many who speak while they do not know that they think that changing some rulings related to custom, or changing some means of life related to time, requires changing all the rulings of religion just because time has changed, and perhaps the day will come What comes out to us is someone who says that the matter in the days of the Prophet is to worship God alone, and time has changed, so we should share God in keeping with the age.

Types of man’s nakedness

Dr. Mukhtar Marzouq Abdel-Rahim, former dean of the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion at Al-Azhar University in Asyut, said that the man’s’ awrah, as determined by many jurists, is from the navel to the knee, and it is divided into two parts, namely, the vagina and the anus, and it is lightened, which is what else.

He continued: Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may God Almighty have mercy on him, says: Literature is the whole religion, and covering the nakedness of manners, just as ablution and ritual washing from impurity are from etiquette until the servant stands before God pure, and this is why scholars prefer beautification for the sake of prayer because he stands before his Lord.

The scholars also said, “God has commanded an amount that is more than covering the nakedness in prayer, and it is taking the adornment for the Almighty’s saying,“ O sons of Adam, take your adornment at every mosque. ”So the matter was suspended to take the adornment indicating that the servant has the right to wear the most beautiful and most beautiful clothes in prayer. A large amount of money was used to wear it at the time of prayer and say, “My Lord is more worthy of the one I beautified in my prayers.”

He continued: God, may He be glorified and exalted, loves to see the effect of His grace on His servant, especially if he stands between his hands in prayer, so he is better off standing with the most beautiful clothes and he is beautiful on the outside and inside.
