Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the English star of Liverpool, felt pain after facing the Danish Midtyland in the second round of the group stage of the European Champions League, which was held at Anfield on Tuesday evening and ended with a victory for the Reds (2-0).
Salah started the match from the bench before participating as a substitute, and the added time for the match saw the player blocking his progress inside the penalty area so that the referee counted a penalty kick, and Salah scored the second goal right before the end of the match.
Yallakora learned that Salah felt foot pains after the end of the match, and was unable to walk well while leaving the stadium.
The Egyptian star suffered a severe bruise in the last game against Sheffield United in the English Premier League, following interference by Robert Landstrom, the midfielder of the team, in the match that ended with the Reds’ victory (2-1) last Saturday.
It is reported that Liverpool is preparing to face West Ham United next Saturday in the English Premier League, before the Reds go out to face Atlanta in Italy in the Champions League, then Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in Premier League on November 8.
