Rolani Moccuena, assistant coach of Melody Sundowns, South Africa, denied news of his intention to join coach Pitso Mosimane’s coaching staff at Al-Ahly Club.

Al-Ahly announced the appointment of Pitso Musimani, the former coach of Sundowns, as the new technical director of the team, succeeding Rene Fyler.

Mukwina posted a statement on his official Twitter page: “I have loyalty and will remain in Sundowns.”

He added, “I received many questions from the press and there was a statement circulated on social media, stating that I will join Al-Ahly Club as an assistant coach, and I thought that it is necessary to say that I have loyalty to Sundowns and that I will remain in the team.”

“I am very happy at the club, and I have the honor to be back here again, and I would like to express my commitment and loyalty to the club, to the president of the club, to the board of directors and to the fans, and the club’s service gives me more enthusiasm and the spirit that we have is what gives me the feeling of belonging to this team.”

The assistant coach of Sundowns concluded: “Patrice Mutsipe, president of Sundowns, has always trusted me and I thank him for the confidence he always shows me.”
