Bahader broke the previous record for the oldest soccer player in the world, who was registered in the name of the Israeli, Isaac Hayek, the 73-year-old who took over as the goalkeeper for the Ironi club last year.

The Egyptian Football Association had registered Bahadur on the 6th of October club list during the winter transfer period last January.
