Senegalese Alio Badji expressed his great happiness with Al-Ahly’s victory over Moroccan Wydad and its qualification for the African Champions League final. Badji said in comments on Al-Ahly channel: “The team performed very well in the Al-Ahly match and I liked the way we were playing the match.”
He continued: “We played a good match against Wydad and imposed our character in the match. This is a good thing for you to reach the final of the African Champions League.”
He concluded that he did not participate in the match, saying: “I was very happy despite not participating, so the most important thing is the team’s gain.”
Al-Ahly qualified to the final of the African Champions League, after defeating Moroccan Wydad by five to a goal in all of the two matches.
