Abdel-Rahman Ismail, the agent of Mohamed Magdy “Afsha”, the playmaker of the Al-Ahly club, revealed that his client was among the interests of one of the Scottish League and Saudi clubs as well.
“The player entered the interests of a European club, specifically in the Scottish League, the Gulf League, and specifically the Saudi League,” the agent of “Afsha” added in remarks on the “Al-Nahar” screen early today, Saturday.
He continued: “There is a crisis related to the departure of any player in the European leagues, which is the closure of the registration door on the fifth of October, and of course Al-Ahly and Zamalek cling to all their players in the current period because of the African Champions League.”
Mohamed Magdy “Afsha” had moved to Al-Ahly at the beginning of the current season, coming from the Pyramids ranks. In his first season, the player succeeded in achieving the Egyptian We League and the Egyptian Super League championship.
The 24-year-old played 34 games in his first season with Al-Ahly, through which he managed to score six goals as well as make ten crucial goals.
Abdel-Rahman Ismail went on to talk about his client, the Gabonese striker, Malik Evona, saying: “Evonas history is strong in Egypt and Africa. There is interest from the European club, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and there are two offers, but his fate has not been decided yet.”
He ended: “The player’s contract will expire at the end of the current season, and as for Ivonas return to Al-Ahly, the door is open, especially as he has great popularity from the Al-Ahly fans.”
Evona plays for Nacional, Portugal, where the 28-year-old had previously tried in the Egyptian League by playing with Al-Ahly during the 2015-2016 season after moving from the Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca.
