With a score of 4-1, Manchester United advanced early, through Portuguese star Bruno Fernandez, just two minutes after the start of the match, through a penalty kick, but French midfielder Tangi Ndombele scored the equalizer for Tottenham, in the fourth minute. The South Korean star, Hyung Min Son, led the second goal, in the 7th minute, and United striker Anthony Martial was sent off directly, after his attack on Argentine Lamela, the Spurs player, in the 29th minute.
Star Harry Kane scored the third goal of Tottenham, in the 31st minute.
The South Korean star Son returned to add his second and fourth personal goal for Tottenham, in the 37th minute of the match.
In the second half, the Ivorian right-back, Serge Aurier, added the fifth goal of the Spurs, in the 51st minute, and Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur six, finished in the 79th minute, with a penalty kick.
With this result, Manchester United stopped at 3 points, in the sixteenth place, in the Premier League table, while Tottenham rose to seventh point in fifth place.
