Wadi Degla Club, headed by Majid Sami, announced today, Wednesday, the renewal of the team’s goalkeeper, Mohamed Abdel Monsef, until 2022.
Abdel-Monsef’s contract was supposed to expire in the summer of 2021, but the management of the Djalawi club decided to renew the contract of its veteran goalkeeper until 2022.
Abdel Monsef has played with Wadi Degla team since his transfer from Enppi in 2017 in a free transfer.
Abdel-Monsef, 43, can play until the year 45, after renewing his contract with Wadi Degla.
Abdel Monsef went through many experiences, perhaps the most prominent of which was playing for Zamalek for nearly 11 years before moving to El Gouna, and from there to the Alexandria Union, then Enppi, before settling in the ranks of the Tigris Valley.
It is worth noting that Abdel Monsef participated in 30 official matches with the Tigris, through which he managed to keep his net on seven occasions in the season (2019-2020).
