On the summit of Jebel Samhan, at 2,100 meters, are the most prominent scenes of the clouds embracing the mountain.
Jabal Samhan, which has a maximum height of 2,100 meters, is one of the most important mountain ranges in the Dhofar Governorate, and it includes many plains interspersed with narrow and deep paths, some of which reach about 1,000 meters, according to the Oman Ministry of Tourism website.
During her trip to Oman, Slovakian travel blogger and photographer Nikola Sekerakova decided to visit the most important mountain range in the Dhofar Governorate, namely Jabal Samhan.
Speaking to CNN in Arabic, Sekerakova explains that when visiting Salalah, the stunning landscapes provided by the summit of Jebel Samhan are not to be missed.
Sekerakova describes the view from the top, of the views overlooking Mount Samhan, as “breathtaking,” explaining: “Especially when you are above the clouds, you feel as if you are in heaven on earth.”
As for Sekerakova, the summit of Mount Samhan is mainly distinguished by its location that provides an interesting natural view, and confirms that it is a special location thanks to the moving clouds.
The Slovak Travel Blog wanted to document the view with the view of the clouds forming, but she was not lucky the first time.
“I really wanted to see this scene with the clouds … so I had to come back there again and again,” Sekerakova explains.
The Slovak travel blog states that she visited this place about 10 times during different times, for example during sunset, at sunrise and in the middle of the day. Before leaving Salalah, Sekirakova decided to visit the summit of the mountain for the last time, at which time she was lucky and was able to see the view of the clouds from the top.
Sekerakova adds that the view that I was able to see at last was worth the effort to visit the summit of the mountain several times.
Sekerakova suggests that those wishing to visit the summit of Mount Samhan should consider camping in order to watch the spectacular sunrise.
