Al-Ahly club decided to undergo a medical examination on Tuesday, in order to fully assess his condition.
Mohamed Hani left the Egyptian national team camp to confirm his absence from the match against Togo in the fourth round of the African Nations Qualifiers 2022 due to a pain in the external knee ligament.
Al-Ahly published, on its official website, statements by Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the football director, in which he confirmed that the player had undergone medical examinations on Tuesday to determine the qualifying program and the period of Hani’s absence from the stadiums.
The Al-Ahly club’s technical staff, led by Pitso Mosimane, decided to give the players a break from training on Monday, and return on Tuesday to continue preparing for the CAF Champions League final on November 27th.
It is worth noting that Mohamed Hani participated in the Egypt-Togo match in the third round of African Nations 2022 qualifiers in Cameroon, which Egypt won with a clean goal.
