Ambassador Bassam Radi, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said, Friday, that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi went this morning to the city of Juba to hold a summit meeting with the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir.
The Spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the President’s visit to South Sudan is the first of its kind, and that an Egyptian-South Sudanese summit will be held, which will discuss various files related to joint cooperation between the two countries.
He added that “there will also be discussion of ways to strengthen bilateral relations, especially at the economic and developmental level, in a way that contributes to achieving the interests of the two brotherly countries, within the framework of a strong mutual will to enhance cooperation frameworks between them.”
The Egyptian-South Sudanese summit is also scheduled to discuss the most important political developments related to regional and continental issues of common interest.
